Maternity Portraits …
A pregnancy is a very special time in a woman’s life. Your body changes and creates new life. Most women will only experience this process a very few times in their lives, maybe even only once. It’s a time to look after yourself, celebrate what your body is capable of and enjoy the anticipation of the imminent arrival.
Of course you can have maternity portraits taken at any point during your pregnancy but I advise clients to schedule their maternity portraits for any time between 32 and 38 weeks. Be aware though not to let it get too close to your due date. Although shoots are usually booked as much in advance as possible, I will always do my very best to fit you in should you be late in your pregnancy and wish to have pictures taken.
Newborn Portraits …
I know from my own experience how amazing, mind-blowing, fabulous but also frightening it is to have a newborn, particularly if it is your first! Tiny newborn features change to quickly, which is why it is essential to book a newborn portrait session for the first two weeks of the babe’s life. I want to make it as easy for babe and parents as possible by doing all newborn portrait shoots in the comfort of the parent’s home. The parents can be involved and do not need to leave their precious goods out of sight at any time.
I will give you all relevant information on the shoot and what is needed at the time of booking.
Family Portraits ...
Children grow so quickly and the face of a family changes all the time. Therefore it is invaluable to capture family moments. Family portraits can be taken pretty much anywhere. At your home, on the playground, in the forrest, on the beach, in the zoo or on holiday. Older children might find portraits more fun in combination with a day out and away from home whereas younger children might need the home comfort to be happy and relaxed. I am flexible to come see you where and when suits you best
